As a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician, you will have a background of working on hospital wards and are medicine management trained. You will, therefore, be able to undertake medicine reconciliation and the management of patients drugs.
You will also support the multidisciplinary team, by attending the ward MDT and in liaison with patients and carers to help agree the most appropriate presentation of medication for discharge, considering compliance aids or supported administration.
You will be working with predominantly care of elderly patients and stroke rehabilitation.
You will be working 37.5 hours per week, but there can be flexibllity with this. The role is for a duration of approximately 3 months.
