Occupational Therapist
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:
Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary Duty Team, working with older people and Adults with disabilities.
The candidate will be required to carry home visits whenever required.
- To arrange and undertake care act assessments of Older people and people with disabilities
- To intervene and make recommendations using a client centred approach and making best use of resources in order to maximise user's functional independence in activities of daily living within their homes
- To undertake moving and handling risk assessments
- To recommend and provide equipment
- To consider adaptations and liaise with Private housing
- To respond appropriately to urgent referrals and prioritise workload in response to levels of risk and duty of care
- Role based in London
