About The Role:

We are looking for a Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary Duty Team, working with older people and Adults with disabilities.
The candidate will be required to carry home visits whenever required and, therefore, we are not accepting candidates who wish to work remotely only.
To arrange and undertake care act assessments of Older people and people with disabilities
To intervene and make recommendations using a client centred approach and making best use of resources in order to maximise user's functional independence in activities of daily living within their homes
To undertake moving and handling risk assessments
To recommend and provide equipment
To consider adaptations and liaise with Private housing
To respond appropriately to urgent referrals and prioritise workload in response to levels of risk and duty of care
