Social Worker – Permanence

We are looking for a candidate to join a close-knit team of like-minded, enthusiastic professionals, striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children.
Our service is making excellent progress on its journey to improve the lives of vulnerable children and young people across the Borough. Keeping children safe, protected and supported continues to be central to everything we do. We offer a fair and manageable caseload across all teams, and an agile working kit, allowing you to work flexibly and remotely and we also offer agency staff the opportunity to access training just like the permanent staff.
Social Workers within the service will work with the child, young people and their families from the initial assessment, through to determining a long term plan, offering stability to the case and consistency throughout. We will support you in honing and developing your skills, including working in partnership with other professionals, including court work.
